Project Description: In order to faithfully re-create a new "Modern Farmhouse" concept, the garage has to become detached from the 4,900 SF home as were the carriage houses of yesteryear. Here a porte-cochere provides function, yet is in keeping with this infill lot in an established neighborhood. The vertical barn board siding and wrap-around full porch enhance the concept of the updated farmhouse style.
